Agreements

Using CodeLotse Cloud is a contract between Quavon UG (haftungsbeschränkt) and your organisation. It consists of two documents, which an administrator accepts electronically for the organisation:

DocumentContentCurrent text
Terms of saleThe service, plans, prices, payment, liability and termapp.codelotse.com/legal/terms
Data processing agreement (DPA)Quavon processes personal data in your repositories on your behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Its annexes are the list of sub-processors and the technical and organisational measuresapp.codelotse.com/legal/dpa

When you accept them

An administrator accepts both documents when claiming the organisation (Quickstart). The acceptance is recorded with the version of each document, the time and the administrator who accepted. Members who are not administrators never see a prompt: the agreements are between Quavon and the organisation, and informing your staff is up to you as the controller.

Choosing a paid plan asks once more for the terms of sale in the version that applies at that moment. See Plans and billing.

When a new version is published

Each text has a version. When Quavon publishes a new version, administrators see Updated agreements on the Hosted service page of the organisation, with links to the new texts.

Until an administrator chooses Accept:

  • reviews, triage and other background work keep running under the previous version;
  • changes through the web app and the API are refused, so the organisation is effectively read-only;
  • billing, the data export, deleting the organisation, and approving or revoking support access keep working.

A new sub-processor is announced 30 days before it starts processing your data, as the DPA requires. If you do not agree with a new version, you can export your data and delete the organisation.
